Terms & Conditions
Due to the nature of custom commissions once the finished portrait has been approved by the client and shipped, no refunds will be made.
A 50% deposit must be made before the work commences. On completion the remaining balance must be paid before the artwork is send out. Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal; details will be provided in the email invoice.
An anticipated date of completion will be given at the time of ordering. Whilst every effort will be made to meet this, it should not be regarded as an absolute guarantee. I allow about 1 week to complete each portrait. If you need your commission for a specific date please order early remembering that from September to December is my busiest time so if you want a commission in time for Christmas, order it as soon as possible as there is also Christmas post to consider.
Changes to Artwork
I will send frequent photo updates and clients can let me know if they want me to make changes at any stage. I will only send the portrait once a client is 100% happy.
Postage is included in the overall price. All portraits are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day and will require a signature. If you reside outside the UK, there will be an additional charge for postage.
Damage in Transit
I pack all portraits to the highest standard, however in the unlikely event that the portrait arrives damaged, please send photographs of the artwork and packaging immediately. Once I have received the original artwork and packaging by post I will create a new portrait at no additional cost as soon as possible.
Use of Artwork Image
I retain copyright on any artwork I produce and reserve the right to use it on my website and for marketing on social media. Client emails may be used on my website as testimonials. Please let me know if the portrait is for a gift and I will not share it online without your permission until it has been received.
